Hello. I have been experiencing annoying issue when trying to upload a file in Safari. I want to see the items as List but every time Columns are selected. Is it possible to switch it and have it as default? I know about CMD + 2 shortcut but those are extra clicks for no reason.

FWIW, Safari remembers the view chosen for me. Don't know why it's not working for you.
Try booting into Safe Mode then restart normally.

This is how it used to work, I guess. But now this view stays the same.
It should retain the last view setting you used. It is a global setting, so if you change it in another app, that setting will affect every app.
I don't know where the setting is stored.
