Messages not working
My messages aren’t functioning properly and I can’t type anything all it shows is a black screen 😭 why is this happening?

How much free storage space do you have left on your iPhone XR? To find out open Settings ➡️ General ➡️ About ➡️ Available: Here, you will see the available free storage space. Ensure that you have at least 8GB - 10GB of free space.

If the above is good, then Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:
- Press and quickly release Volume UP button
- Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
- Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).
