Why has Photos still syncing after 3 days?

It will depend on the size of your Photos Library. For my library with roughly 50000 photos and videos the first syncing took ten days.

If you have a lot of videos that will extend the scanning time as it scans each frame of every video.
I have 9000+ and some are videos. I guess it will take a while - thank you!
