Accidentally Reported Text as Junk

I went to delete a text message and instead accidentally reported it as junk. I read on somewhere on this forum that this has happened to a lot of people and the way to fix it is to open your Apple ID on a different device and then text the number that you accidentally reported as junk. However, I don’t know what the number was because it’s text messaging from my doctors office. It’s a different number than their office phone number. But I get important messages through there, so what do I do?

Hello Emoser17,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities!

We want to help with the reported text message.

You don't need to take any further action since the number will still be able to message you, as long as you didn't block it. See here:

Note: Reporting junk or spam doesn’t prevent the sender from sending messages, but you can block the number to stop receiving them.

We hope this helps. Please let us know if you have further questions.

Cheers!
