Handsfree Recording in Clips

Using an iPad 8th Gen and I'd like to handsfree record on Clips. I've seen the instruction online to hold the record button and look for the "Swipe for continuous record" but that does not appear on my screen. There is, however, a lock icon to the left of the record button, which makes me think that option is "locked" for me. Ideas?

How to screen record on iPhone without home button appearing? Specifically talking about the line on the bottom of the screen you swipe up on to access the homescreen. Been looking online but to no avail. I want to screen record on my iPhone without the home button being visible on the video, or while I'm recording. Nothing that I'm trying out is working, I'm so lost. Assistive Touch doesn't temporarily remove home button (or disappear in videos), and Guided Access disables using Control Center at all. iOS 16, btw.
