Create a Sampler Instrument

Being new to sampling, I want to create an instrument I can use with sounds I'm recording.

Is there a way to do such a thing?

OK. Since my post I found a different way to load samples into the Sampler.

Playing around with it, I've discovered the zone window and figured out how to play my samples by choosing "One shot" and also have them follow or not the Tempo. I can see you can modify the tempo response also with the "Speed" menu.

In the edit menu I was able to optimize the gain of each sample.

In the Mapping edit menu, I found how to create a "Key Label" list for all the samples I use. They show up in the Piano roll view.

The problem with this, even though I've saved this list, as well as the samples in the sampler, they are not always showing up.

Any ideas as to why? Does this make sense?
