Time MaTchine problem;; works but date index does not show backups in 2023

Time Machine: Been using it for a long time. When TM is engaged, folders in screen middle, index of dates on right side of screen. The usual index is not visible as of the exact time of starting 2023. All TM dates visible for all times before New Years; it's only after the New Year's. TM is backing up, I can select screen (more clumsy) using the center of the screen folders, and the back up data are there. It's only the date index for 2023.

Second iMac at home does not have this problem. I'm mystified.....

Without your Time Machine plugged in as a test,

and opening TM (browse Time Machine backups) from the menu bar...

Do you see available local snapshots for 2023 ?

My apologies for not getting back sooner. Yes, you go it. Although it's been a problem for a few weeks, you must have scared it -- it fixed itself after your response! Great job!
