I can’t disable this stage manager.

I can’t disable this stage manager. Now my iPad will not display to my tv using an HDMI cable. It was working perfectly before I inadvertently hit stage manage on a pop up window. Help

How can I disable Stage Manager on the iPad? Hello- since ios 16.2 and the update to stage-manager I have lost the ability to mirror my ipad screen onto a TV via a USB C and HDMI cable. When I connect it automatically turns on Stage Manager and I can no longer mirror the screen - this is important as I run ZWIFT. IPad image does not fill TV screen in some applications When I hook my iPad up to our TV (via HDMI cable), MHz programs do not fill the screen (image is centered with a wide black border), but programs from PBS Passport do. Is there a way to adjust this so that MHz programs fill the screen?

You can disable Stage Manager from iPad settings:

Settings > Home Screen & Multitasking > Stage Manager > Use Stage Manager on iPad - set to OFF
