iPhone 7 update 15.7.2 issue

Updated iPhone 7 to iOS 15.7.2 but on the screen where it says OK to press after the update, I press "ok", but it doesn't go away. So I am unable to access my phone. What can I do?

Fixed it. The trick was to hold down the power button a few seconds and then press down the low volume button. That forced a shut down, and when it came back, that window was gone and I can use my phone.

Please read the instructions for a Forced Restart carefully.

You don't slide the shut down option. You need to ignore the shut down slider and continue to hold down the side button on the phone until the Apple logo appears on the screen, just as the instructions detail.

Try and force restart your iPhone to see if the problem persists

Press and quickly release the volume up button.
Press and quickly release the volume down button.
Press and hold the side button.
When the Apple logo appears, release the side button.

I tried that, but the software update notice in the middle of the screen ill not go away when I press ok to allow me to slide the shut down option. Thanks
