Intermittent sound from Apple TV

I recently bought the new 2022 Apple TV 4K. I connected it directly to my LG C8 Oled TV HDMI. I am also connecting HDMI ARC from the TV to my old Bose Cinemate 120 because it doesn’t support HDCP 2.2.

When I plugged in the for the first time it worked. But it hasn’t ever since. There’s no sound coming from the Bose at all. If I restart the Apple TV or reconnect the HDMI sound is back on. Next time I turn on the TV same issue. I’m not sure what the issue here is and looking for a solution for this problem.

Already set to 5.1. No luck. And stereo is not an option because it won’t sound that good.

Does it have to do with HDCP 2.2 support? The Bose does only 1.4 and may be that’s messing the system. Would getting a HDCP converter solve the issue? Just speculating here after reading few other posts.

Spent a lot getting this Bose Junk and changing isn’t possible as of now
