Notes App has disappeared from home screen

My notes app has disappeared from my iPhone home screen. The App Store only gives me the option to "Open", but not to "Install". Opening it does not bring the icon back to my home screen.

What now?

It sounds like the Notes app is in the App Library.

On your home screen -> swipe from left to right until you arrive at the App Library.

Find the Notes app and hold, and drag it back to your home screen.

If you see "Open" in the App Store, it means that your Notes app is still installed on your iPhone. If it's not on the home screen, it can only be in the App Library. There are ALL the apps.

Try swiping down on your home screen to turn off Spotlight search. Search Notes when you see the app - you can press and hold it and drag it back to the home screen.
