SMS messaging on I phone

Hi everyone, I do mass texting on my brand new I phone 14 pro max for work, I have no problem sending messages to I phone users through iMessage. However when I send messages to android users or a green number the recipient does not receive the message. From my end and apples end it looks like it sends as there is no error that appears. Randomly it will kick in and start working again and all me to send messages until it randomly stops again. If I turn off I message no texts will send even to people with I phones. Any ideas? T mobile and Apple both can’t seem to figure out the issue. Please let me know thank you so much.

Hello Jakeport,

Okay, so it's all SMS messages. Doesn't matter if you're just sending to one person or multiple people. Thanks for those additional details.

You can also check in Settings > Messages, to make sure the Send as SMS and MMS Messaging options are currently turned on. Aside from that, see if there's any specific situation where you encounter this. You mentioned that sometime it works and sometime it doesn't. Does it seem to not work at a specific time of day? Does it not work when you're in a specific location? If there is some specific pattern to when you experience the problem, that is helpful to know.

Ultimately if the SMS messages are still not working properly, you'll want to contact your wireless carrier again. The SMS service is something that is completely on their end, so if it is not working they may need to escalate the issue to a higher level of support or their network engineers.

Cheers!

Greetings Jakeport,

You mentioned that you’re sending mass text messages. Can you test and let us know if the same thing occurs when sending a message to one recipient? Messages in a green bubble do use your wireless carrier’s servers. Were you able to confirm that there aren’t any blocks on the account that may be caused by sending mass text messages?

If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone or iPad

If you see a red exclamation point
If you try to send a message and you see a red exclamation point with an alert that says Not Delivered, follow these steps:
1. Check your network connection.
2. Tap the red exclamation point, then tap Try Again.
3. If you still can’t send the message, tap the red exclamation point, then tap Send as Text Message. Messaging rates may apply. Contact your carrier for more information.

You can set up Messages so that it automatically tries to send messages as an SMS when iMessage isn't available. Go to Settings > Messages, and turn on Send as SMS.

If you still need help
• Try to restart your iPhone or iPad.
• Check your network connection. To send a message as iMessage or MMS, you need a cellular data or Wi-Fi connection. To send an SMS message, you need cellular network connection. If you turn on Wi-Fi Calling, you can send SMS messages over Wi-Fi.
• Check with your carrier to see if the type of message you’re trying to send, like MMS or SMS, is supported.
• If you’re trying to send group MMS messages on an iPhone, go to Settings > Messages and turn on MMS Messaging. If you don't see an option to turn on MMS Messaging or Group Messaging on your iPhone, then your carrier might not support this feature.
• Make sure that your device has enough space to receive images and videos.
• Make sure that you entered the correct phone number or email address for the contact.

Thanks.

Hi thanks for responding, yes I can confirm the same thing occurs when sending a message to one recipient, it will randomly work and then randomly not. I was able to confirm from both Apple and t mobile that everything is clean there is no blockage. I also don’t get an error message, on my end it looks like it went through they just didn’t get it. Thanks
