Apple ID issues with reinstalling osx lion

I recently reset and old macbook to factory settings. Now trying to reinstall OS (Lion). When asked for Apple ID, I input my ID but it tells me my username or password are incorrect. However I am getting the two-factor authorization on my other device(s). How can I correct this?

Hi Xostinaa,

We'll be glad to address this with you further. If you're needing to download Lion, the following article shows how to do that, along with links to the software: How to download macOS - Apple Support

"Lion 10.7

  1. Click the link to download a disk image (.dmg) file for that macOS.
  2. Double-click the .dmg file to open it and see the .pkg file within.
  3. Double-click the .pkg file, then follow the onscreen instructions. This installs the macOS installer into your Applications folder.
  4. Open your Applications folder and double-click the macOS installer, named Install [Version Name]. Follow the onscreen instructions to install macOS.

"

That should allow you to get it.

Cheers.
