Family sharing stopped working on Apple Music

Until I upgraded to iOS 16.2, family sharing worked. Now it doesn’t work anymore. I believe I’ve checked all my settings, in my apple acct info, under family sharing (I’m a dependent on the account), and so has the managing account holder. I deleted the app and re-installed it, and I’ve done a hard reset of the iPad. Is there anything else I can do?

iPad Pro, iPadOS 16

Hi Echoesfor399,

It sounds like you've completed all of the steps you can on your end. The person with the Apple Music Family subscription needs to verify that they are set up to share their purchases and subscriptions using Share Apple and App Store subscriptions with family members on iPhone:

  1. "Go to Settings  > [your name] > Family Sharing.
  2. Tap Subscriptions, then do one of the following:
    • Tap a subscription you want to share, then follow the onscreen instructions."

Regards.
