Wi-Fi talk suddenly stopped working.

My iPhone 7plus suddenly stopped working with Wi-Fi talk, I also have an iPhone XS working normally under the same conditions. Is there a logical reason for this? I have spent hrs. will Vodafone trying to resolve the problem without success.

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 15

Hi SravankaKrA, many thanks for your support, however, I managed to locate the route of the trouble. VPN was being enabled by my security package, when disabled Wi-Fi call was displayed immediately.

Wi-Fi Talk?

I found the following in this link --> https://www.vodafone.ro/volte

How do I check if I have active VoLTE service?

The service is activated automatically if you meet the eligibility criteria (compatible phone, active 4G mobile data service and update to the latest version of the operating system). When you make a call you will notice that the 4G logo is still active and your HD logo will appear on the phone screen.

How do I enable Wi-Fi calling?

  1. 1. Connect your phone to Wi-Fi.
  2. 2. From the Home screen, select Phone.
  3. 3. Touch the Menu icon in the Phone section.
  4. 4. Click Settings.
  5. 5. Scroll down to the Wi-Fi call and activate it.

Where is VoLTE available?

  • VoLTE is available wherever there is 4G Vodafone coverage.

How do I know I'm using VoLTE?

  • When you call, the HD icon appears on the phone screen:
  • During the VoLTE call, HD + appears on the phone screen:

  • When you make a Wi-Fi call, a specific icon will appear in the upper right corner of the screen:
