Superdrive and Ventura

When my MacBook Pro was Monterey, I had no problem working with the superdrive.

Note that my USB A to C device worked perfectly.

Upgrading to Ventura, I noticed that my superdrive worked but super slowly.

Usually, only took minutes to copy data from CD, now it will take hours.

I've tried the same superdrive to my iMac that still installed Monterey, worked perfectly.

If anyone has the same problem with me and already fixed this problem, please let me know.

Well on my 2 M-Class Computers, both running Ventura 13.1 with a Lacie DVD Reader / Writer USB -A connector USB-C toggle works just fine and no reduction in performance

1 - Direct connection to Computer ?

2 - Direct Connection to USB " HUB " with USB-C connection to Computer ?

If not mistaken, the Apple SuperDrive as only a USB-A Male connector.

The computer on which the Slowness is occurring has >>

Only USB-A Female connectors ?

Only USB-C Female connectors ?

If USB-C connectors on the Computer, how exactly is the SuperDrive being connected to the computer ?

Yes it was

I had USB Hub and I know it won't work when I connect it to the superdrive

So, i buy another single direct USB A to C connector and worked perfectly while still on Monterey, but worked very slowly right after installing Ventura
