Can you exempt a pacemaker app from low power mode on iPhone X so it sends data to clinic even as low power mode applies to other apps

Thanks. I got basically the same answer from the Medtronic 800 number today. It is unfortunate that an health app that might need to send an emergency signal related to a heart attack or other issue could be disabled by the low power mode on an iphone (vs. exempted from same). It seems like something Apple may want to work on and improve with its focus on health features with its iWatch etc.

That sounds like a very good suggestion. You should let Apple know what you think:

Unfortunately, it is not possible to set up Low Power Mode to only exclude certain apps from updating in the background.

The best thing you can do is to set up your iPhone based on some of the things that Low Power Mode turns off, in order to save battery. Or in short, stop using the function.
