Ipad A1337 (First generation) Is Bootlooping.

Hi! This is my very first apple question, today I’ve decided to buy a First generation iPad for a work, and its bootlooping when I charge it with original charger and everything, and it shows apple logo and turns off, and same thing repestong over and over, and then when I connect it to the Mac it blinks like a grey screen and turns off in less than a second, and repeats. I tried to restore it and nothing, says i disconnected it from DFU, and then it haves the same problem. Please, if anyone knows how to solve this, answer me.

Hi KukitoSenpai,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. It's exciting to get a new iPad. We know you weren't expecting to have an issue with this purchase. We'll do all we can to help.

Was this device purchased by an Apple Authorized Reseller? Have you take a look at these steps as they can help you isolate the this to software or hardware?

If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch unexpectedly restarts or shuts down, or displays the Apple logo or a spinning gear, learn what to do.

1. Check your software

Make sure that your device has the latest version of iOS or iPadOS and that your apps are up to date. If the issue continues after updating your software and apps, check your hardware.

2. Check your hardware

  • On an iPhone 6 or later, check your battery health under Settings > Battery > Battery Health.
  • If your battery doesn't need service, and your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch continues to frequently restart or turn off, contact Apple Support.
  • If your apps quit unexpectedly, learn what to do.
  • If your device has a frozen screen, doesn't respond, or becomes stuck when you turn it on, learn what to do for iPhoneiPad, or iPod touch.

Honestly, a first-generation iPad is going to be barely worth the money you paid for it. In all likelihood, the battery is no good and it will be close to impossible to get a new one (and not worth the money). You can only update it to iOS 5.1.1, meaning you will not be able to download any apps. If possible, return it and get your money back so that you can use the money for something more functional.
