Anker 313 model 2503 charging pad

Just purchased Apple I-14 cell phone and was wondering if I will have any issues with the Anker 313 model A2503 charging pad. Verizon (seller) recommended a 20-watt fast charge through a USC connector. The 313 has a 10-watt maximum and was wondering that that wattage would create a problem. Anny advice or a recommendation would be greatly appreciated.

iPhone 14, iOS 16

Hi rpabs,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you have questions on whether you can use a specific charger with your new iPhone 14. We'd like to help.

From the iPhone tech specs, it shows the following:

Power and Battery

iPhone 14

Video playback:

Up to 20 hours

Video playback (streamed):

Up to 16 hours

Audio playback:

Up to 80 hours

Fast-charge capable:

Up to 50% charge in around 30 minutes14 with 20W adapter or higher (available separately)

Both models (iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus):

  • Built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery
  • MagSafe wireless charging up to 15W15
  • Qi wireless charging up to 7.5W15
  • Charging via USB to computer system or power adapter
  • Fast-charge capable:
  • Up to 50% charge in around 30 minutes14 with 20W adapter or higher (available separately)

Comparing that to the specs for the Anker charging pad, it should work as the pad does wireless charging up to 7.5W, which is required for Qi wireless charging. Anker 313 Wireless Charger (Pad)

Hope that helps.

Cheers.
