AirPods pro2

After updating 16.3 on Iphone xr when using AirPods pro 2 the sound started to shift to the left side. It feels as if the sound splits in two and most of it plays in the left earpiece, before the update there were no such problems.

Hello tim9kk9,

To help isolate the behavior you're experiencing we recommend reviewing your audio balance. Here's how: Customize headphone audio levels on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

"Use Custom Audio Setup

  1. Reset any current audio configurations to their default settings:
    • Go to Settings > Music > EQ, then tap Off to turn off Music EQ.
    • Go to Settings > Accessibility > Audio/Visual, then adjust the Balance slider. Set the audio volume balance to the center.
  1. Connect your headphones. Make sure that you're in a quiet environment.
  2. Go to Settings > Accessibility > Audio/Visual > Headphone Accommodations. Tap Custom Audio Setup.
  3. Follow the instructions on your screen. When finished, tap Use Custom Settings to apply the custom settings suggested based on your choices. You can switch back to standard settings at any time."

If the behavior persists, even after moving audio towards the right side, your AirPod may be experiencing a hardware issue. You can review hardware options in your region using the following pages.
