Family sharing/Apple Music

im a member on my grandmothers family sharing set up and she shares her Apple Music subscription with me and my dad. Recently I was unable to use my Apple Music, when I open Apple Music it shows me different plan options and won’t let me listen to music anymore. I called a few time to Apple trying to get it fixed, one of the tech supports said she fixed it but it still wouldn’t work even after restarted my phone. I had my grandmother delete me from the family sharing and send me an invite to have me Join in again but whenever I open the invite, it brings me to a page where nothing happens. I’ve tried restarting me phone but nothing seems to change the page. I had my grandmother send me another invite but it would let her because she already sent one. Why is it not working?

iPhone 12 Pro Max, iOS 16

Hello anonymous165,

To help ensure you're able to re-join their Family Sharing group as expected, the steps below may help:

  1. First ensure that the latest OS/software version is applied to all devices, as that will help ensure they have the latest fixes and improvements applied.

Updating iOS: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Updating macOS: Update macOS on Mac - Apple Support

2. If possible, try accepting the invite via another device and/or have the Family Organizer send the invite from another device. This can help with ruling out any existing conflicts on the current device(s) being used.

3. Try having the Family Organizer use a different invitation method, such as invite-in-person, iMessage, AirDrop, etc.

4. Ensure that your Apple ID and device are set to the same region as the Family Organizer.

Cheers.
