Face recognition not working for apple store

The worst phone I have ever owned is the Iphone 13 mini and for the extortionate price I feel ripped off by Apple. It has a sorry history of malfunctioning and corrupted software. After the latest "upgrade" I had to go back and change all my settings which had been changed by the upgrade. Most problems have been fixed but some annoying ones remain. I am trying to fix them one by one. The current bug is that face ID is not recognised by the Apple Store even though all the settings are correct. Does Apple a bug fix for this?

I have tried all the suggestions mentioned in the link. I haven't yet tried removing face id and setting it up again. Face ID works with other features so it should work with the Apple Store. I probably won't bother resetting as I intend to scrap the phone soon as it has caused me so many problems and go back to a non-Apple phone.
