iCloud sign in

I have 2 Apple ID accounts. I can successfully sign in on one but on the other, after going through the sign in process I get. "Welcome back, Sue" and then the screen switches to "sign in" again. What is this all about? But the way, when I signed in here, I used the ID for the account that I cannot sign in to. ???

The two devices it could be primary Mac or other devices like second Mac / iPhone / iPad that are signed in with same Apple ID and password on the same network with same credentials , when Apple ID Change your Apple ID - Apple Support or its password is changed Change your Apple ID password - Apple Support from primary Mac it has to be updated on other devices What to do after you change your Apple ID or password - Apple Support

Note : if you are using two Macs never keep login password exactly the same it has to be changed on primary Mac https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/change-the-login-password-on-mac-mchlp1550/13.0/mac/13.0
