Game Center profile

Hello, last night my iPhone 11.0 wanted to update to late version and today when l logged to game it wanted me to create a new profile in Game Center. Said that my actual profile name was already taken. How to switch to my actual Game Center account?

Hey there BikerCh1ck,

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities.

To get started, if you go into Settings > Game Center, do you see your profile and Apple ID signed in here? If not, turn Game Center on here, and sign back into your Apple ID.

If you don't see your gameplay data on a device
If you can access your gameplay data on one device but not on another, you might need to check your settings. Make sure that you have an iPhone or iPod touch with the latest version of iOS, an iPad with the latest version of iPadOS, a Mac with the latest version of macOS, or an Apple TV with the latest version of tvOS

Check your settings on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
1. Make sure that you're signed in to iCloud with the same Apple ID that you use on your other devices.
2. Make sure that you're signed in to Game Center with the same Apple ID that you use on your other devices. Go to Settings > Game Center to see the Apple ID that you're using with Game Center.

If you still don’t see your data and you were playing on a different device, check your settings on that device.

Let us know if that's able to help.

Take care!
