Could my AirPods Pro be permanently damaged leaving them in a car overnight?

I left my AirPods Pro in a car around 3:30 p.m and was able to pick them up around 2 p.m the next day. If they were left in the car the whole time, could that have permanently damaged it? They still work fine at the moment.
