Calendar: NEED to add events with no end time

I never need an End Time for calendar events. How can I get calendar to stop requiring an end time and defaulting to an hour after start time?

iPhone 12, iOS 16

Hey there lynneeve,

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities. To get started, while it would not be possible to prevent the 'End' selection from appearing when creating a new calendar event, you could select the 'All-day' option so the event is not set to end at a certain time. Here is more info on options: Create and edit events in Calendar on iPhone - Apple Support

To let Apple know that you need other options for events in the Calendar app for iPhone, please let them know here: Feedback - Calendar - Apple

We hope that's able to help.

Have a great day!
