Calendar: NEED to add events with no end time
I never need an End Time for calendar events. How can I get calendar to stop requiring an end time and defaulting to an hour after start time?

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities. To get started, while it would not be possible to prevent the 'End' selection from appearing when creating a new calendar event, you could select the 'All-day' option so the event is not set to end at a certain time.
