Uninstall CleanMyMac by following the developer's instructions. CMM is notorious for causing all sorts of issues with macOS. Anti-virus apps, cleaning/optimizer apps, and third party security software are not needed on a Mac. These types of apps usually cause more problems than they solve because they interfere with the normal operation of macOS. macOS already has great built-in security especially if the user also practices safe computing habits such as those outlined in this excellent article written by a respected forum contributor:

If you still have problems after uninstalling CMM, then run EtreCheck again and post the new report here so we can make sure CMM is completely uninstalled and to look for any other possible issues...I stopped looking immediately after seeing CMM because CMM has so many entries in the report making it hard to notice other things.

Getting rid of a Kernel Panic involves removing the offending software or connected device. In this case the offending software is CMM. If a third party app or external device is not the source of the Kernel Panic, then only a repair of the Mac will get rid of the Kernel Panics.

That second report was generated on the 17th and still shows CMM as installed.

See the instructions here, but please disregard the first sentence of the instructions:

https://macpaw.com/support/cleanmymac/knowledgebase/uninstall-cleanmymac-x

The fact that any developer would even suggest the first sentence as a method of uninstalling an app such as CMM which puts tendrils into the heart of the system shows why this app it notorious. Seems CMM has an "uninstall" option somewhere within the app.

Thanks for the updated report which shows CMM is no longer installed.

You are one version behind on updates for Monterey, so it wouldn't hurt to install the latest patch just in case it resolves your issue (doubtful).

Another respected forum contributor has mentioned that third party file syncing services such as Drop Box can severely impact performance due to how it must scan all the files for changes. I honestly don't know the real impact, but I'm sure it is contributing to some extent.

The read & write speeds of your OWC SSD is extremely slow. I would expect read speeds of at least 1,200MB/s perhaps more...but I don't know what speed this laptop is capable of. You should run Disk Utility First Aid on the hidden Container. Within Disk Utility you may need to click "View" and select "Show All Devices" so that the hidden Container appears on the left pane of Disk Utility. Even if First Aid says everything is "Ok", click "Show Details" and scroll back through the report to see if any other unfixed errors are detected. If there are any unfixed errors listed, then try running First Aid from Internet Recovery Mode, otherwise you will need to erase the whole physical SSD followed by reinstalling macOS & restoring from a backup.

Try running DriveDx to check the health of the SSD. Post the complete DriveDx text report here using the "Additional Text" icon which looks like a piece of paper.

Disconnect all external devices in case one of them is causing a problem.

If nothing here helps and the SSD is healthy, then I suggest you perform a clean install of macOS on the laptop by first erasing the whole physical SSD. I highly recommend creating & using a bootable macOS USB installer just in case Internet Recovery Mode only allows you to boot the macOS 10.11 online installer which won't see the OWC SSD. You can try installing macOS to an external USB3 SSD to see how it performs. If it also has speed issues when booting to the external SSD, then it may indicate some other hardware issue with the laptop (could still be a slim chance an issue with the internal SSD). Testing must be performed with a fresh OS before any third party apps are installed and before restoring from a backup.

Hi, thank you very much for your appreciated help. I did remove CMM and ran another EtreCheck report which I am attaching as additional text to this reply. Also please note that the problem was there before I installed CMM. I just bought CMM because I was trying to solve the problem, but it did not. So I did just removed it as you suggested Any additional help would be very welcome. Thank you
