searching for photos on my hard drive files return with no thumbanails

Can someone help me solve the some times showing and some times not, the thumbnails of picture files in my local HDD and external as well as in my NAS files?

iMac 27″ 5K, macOS 12.6

finding files (.jpg) I need an app (maybe) to locate .jpg files on my MacBook Pro. Storage shows that I have 108 GBs of “pictures” on my Mac, yet my Photos app uses an external hard drive for storing pix. The Pictures folder in the root for me has only 354MBs. That means that I have a lot of .jpg files in various folders on my internal hard drive. Whew. What is the best method to find and move them? Thanks.

View pictures on external hard drive I think I downloaded my picture file from old computer to external hard rice ( Maxone). Once connected to new computer pictures shows “shortcut 1kb” yet when I click on it no pictures actually show? Maxone D shows on this PC but less than 1 gb is used so not sure if I copied correctly? Really want to save pictures please help

Inaccessible photos on a CF drive I can't see all the photos on an old 256 NB Sandisk flash drive when I connect it to finder on my MBP. I can see many more of them when I mount the CF drive on an old NuVue photo frame. Any ideas? Regards, Patrick
