How do you set up screen time to block apps during set hours NOT time limits etc

I want to be able to have screen time shut off any access to things such as tik tok, and face time during set hours of say 9:30pm to 7am.

Setting screen time schedule works for other things but not for certain apps like facetime tik tok etc.

When screen time hours is reached the apps continue you to work. Other reports say same thing and to set "time limits" which is not what I want we want to be able to limit during certain hours, time limits if set and the child does not use the app all day and you set it for say 2 hours max it still lets them use the app for 2 hours within a 24 hour period no matter what time of day or night it is.

No one seems to have an answer for this. Same thing as to why is a child allowed to disable location sharing without a password. We are constantly turning this feature back on after kids turn it off when they leave for school which defeats the whole purpose being able to track your kids in case of an emergency. This is a HUGE failure on apples child safety push.

Hi Morenos_home, We appreciate you reaching out to us. We’d like to gather additional details that may help us be in a better position to assist you.

Have you had the chance to disable Screen Time, then set it up again?

If yes, let’s check for a software update and make sure that your child's device is running the latest version of iOS.

While it isn't inherently assured that an update will resolve the issue, updating to the latest software version for your device can help isolate potential software issues.

Kindly secure a backup and update.

Also, let's make sure that TikTok is up to date.

  1. "Open the App Store.
  2. Tap your profile icon at the top of the screen.
  3. Scroll to see pending updates and release notes. Tap Update next to an app to update only that app, or tap Update All."
