When I put a search term like, say, "David" in Mail's search field, it used to give me options like a list of Davids that I know, "Subject contains: David" and "Sender contains: David." Since upgrading to Ventura, that sender option is gone. It was very handy for me, e.g. searching for all emails from an organization or from a person with several email addresses. Anybody having the same problem?

Still a bummer that the option went away. See this screenshot from my laptop (on OS Monterey) on how it used to look, including the sender option (in German: "Absender enthält: …")

If you type in a name that matches, it should show a name without any token. Select it and it defaults to From:
You can use the menu to choose From, To, or Message.
Select one of the Davids.
If you are looking for emails from anyone named "David," use "from: David" in the search field.

I'm getting a list of Davids, plus "Subject contains: david" and "Name of attachment contains: david" (my OS is in German.) If I just hit enter I get all emails that contain "david" without the option to pick "from" or "to." What you say worked for me until I upgraded to Ventura.
