Reduced search function in Mail after upgrading to OS Ventura

Hello, since I upgraded to OS Ventura the search function in Apple Mail on my Mac no longer no offers the option of "Sender contains." I use this function all the time. How can I get it back? Thank you.

mail search Since updating to Ventura, the search function in Mail does not work. I've talked to Apple support about it, but they were unable to fix the problem. It does seem to be software related. If I create a new User log in on my MacBook Pro, then Mail's search function works. I've tried "cleaning" a bunch of old software off of my computer, but that hasn't cured the problem. I also re-installed Ventura, but that has not cured the problem. Anybody else having this problem? Suggestions for a cure?

When searching MacMail, emails that met the search criteria identified in a column which mailbox they were in. For some reason the Ventura version of Mac Mail seems to have dropped that feature. Mac Mail Search At some point I lost the ability to use Search in Mac Mail on my iMac. I can still use on my laptop and phone. I have tried all the recommendations to fix this but I assume I have inadvertently change a setting somewhere.
