Repeatedly asked to Update Apple ID Settings

On my MBP M1, Ventura 13.1, I'm repeatedly asked to "Update Apple ID Settings" ("Some account services will not be available until you sign in again"). If I continue, and successfully sign in, this settings update panel still stays in my settings.

Thinking there was something needed done with my apple id, I've logged into apple's appleid management site, but can't see anything out of order ...

Hey there parha,

That's a strange thing to occur, especially since you provide your Apple ID information that it requests, but it still stays within System Settings on your Mac. Also, great job testing signing into the Apple ID management website, but found no issues when you did that. We'd like to rule out some other possible causes, along with confirming more details to better understand what's happening:

  1. When did this first start to occur on your Mac?
  2. If you have other devices that use the same Apple ID, are you also seeing any similar messages on those devices?
  3. Sometimes unexpected behavior can be resolved with a restart. Check out the section ‘Restart your Mac' here: Log out, sleep, wake, restart, or shut down your Mac
  4. While you mentioned having macOS 13.1 installed, the latest version is macOS 13.2. In case you needed it, this link shows how to first back up, then Update macOS on Mac.

Cheers!
