Find my AirPod sound too faint

jist bought new AirPods Pro. Set up FindMy. Tried it. Although the volume does increase slightly over 30 seconds or so, it is still far too faint to be heard if I’m any distance away. How can I turn up the volume for the beep for FindMy AirPods? Useless feature otherwise. If I leave them in the living room, I can’t hear them from the dining room, ten feet away.

Hello Rnjanern,

This page can help out with providing available information and steps to take regarding locating lost AirPods: Find your lost AirPods - Apple Support

Play a sound on your AirPods
If your AirPods are near any of your Apple devices and connected to Bluetooth, you can play a sound to help you find them. With AirPods Pro (2nd generation), you can also play a sound to help find your charging case.
1. Open the Find My app.
2. Select the Devices tab.
3. Choose your AirPods from the list.
4. Tap Play Sound to play a sound that gets louder gradually.

While the volume of the alert sound played via Find My for the AirPods cannot be adjusted, it may get gradually louder across the duration of the sound.

If you happen to wish to provide feedback to Apple regarding your AirPods then this page will be the best place to do so: Product Feedback - Apple

Cheers.
