Hello,
I got the message from Xfinity mobile that they have done their part to unlock the phone. As per apple article (i am on os16.3) phone carrier lock status should have shown no restrictions. but I still see it as SIM locked. I deleted my old esim and tried to install new sim by scanning QR code, but it gives me message that the phone is locked and i need to contact my carrier.
Pls advise.

If you see a message or setting that the SIM is locked, the phone is still locked to Xfinity.....no matter what message you might have received from Xfinity.
Since the carrier is the only one who can unlock the SIM card on your phone, if Xfinity is your carrier, you will need to get back with them to work though the process.
