My 11 yr old recently got an Apple Watch which I set up with Family sharing. She received a threatening text from an unknown number and deleted it quickly. I would like to recover this text to give to authorities. Is there any way to do this?

That may well be what they find out, but the carrier is the only place they may be able to get a message since it was deleted off the watch.

Ahhh... You're absolutely right!!
Depending on the provider, a person can probably see all of the messages online.
I haven't did it in a long time (which is why this just dawned on me) but, I used to be able to send and receive texts online through Verizon.
