Watching Apple TV on Android browsers

Hi,

I signed up for Apple TV last month. Because I don't have any apple hardware, I'm watching this on my android pixel phone through a browser.

It says on the support site that this is a supported method of watching Apple TV.

I've tried watching this on Chrome browser (not supported) and Firefox browser (green and blocky). Both do not work, see screenshots below.

Does anyone know how to get these to work?

Or any browser that of supported on Android mobiles?

Hi, Haven’t used android phones for a while but I know there is an Apple TV app on android tv, so probably on phones to?

Sadly not. Apple have not released any apple TV app for Android phones. It's on the Google store, but you can't install on mobile phones.

Opera browser seems to work for playback. It's the full browser on Android mobiles, not the mini version.

I have no problem viewing through chrome on my Samsung Galaxy phone.
