Why does icloud.com user guide for iPad say you can use a tablet to access Contacts? I just spoke to a senior Apple Support tech named Alan who told me his engineers say you can't use an iPad or any mobile device to access Contacts on icloud.com.

This is what I find when I search the iPad user guide for iCloud:

It doesn't mention anything about accessing Contacts through iCloud on the iPad.
I ask because in your screenshot, it appears that all of the items under "Use Contacts on iCloud.com" are links. Without knowing what's on the other end of those links, I don't believe I can answer your question about why it says what it says.
The engineers fixed it this evening so the icloud.com user guide for ipad no longer mentions using a tablet to access Contacts on icloud.com. It is not possible to do that from a mobile device.
I had a terrible time posting a reply on this forum. Really crude software. I'll try including a screenshot of the error I got repeatedly.
