On an Intel Mac— the best you can do is resetting the SMC Reset the SMC of your Mac - Apple Support

and resetting NVRAM/PRAM Reset NVRAM on your Mac - Apple Support

On a M1/M2 Silicon Mac—Try a SafeBoot How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support

if no resolve it points to a hardware issue.
