Apple Ultra Watch 9.3 update battery drain (bleeding out)

Anyone else have an Ultra 9.3 update in the last 36 hours that is bleeding your battery? I was averaging 3-4 days between charges as I do not use GPS much and don’t have cellular activated. But it just died before I made it to 24 HOURS from full charge.

For the full procedure see below

If it still discharges after all Watch resets it suggests it could be an incompatibility in the software in the Watch and the iPhone with the latest OS releases. What I would do is

-Unpair and erase the Watch

-Backup the iphone

-Restore iphone to factory settings

-Set up the iphone as new without restoring the backup. Install only your essential email accounts, no extra software, no social media

-Pair the Watch to the iphone

-Run them both like that for 24 hours and see how long the battery lasts.

Only when that test is over can you repeat the first three actions then set up the phone but restoring the backup this time.

If the Watch lasts longer the first time than the second time then it proved it is software on the iPhone causing it. In that case you would have to export as much data as possible such as n-sync’d photos and documents out of the phone to a place of safety such as iCloud before repeating the restore and set up as new process.

That's fine and you're welcome. I'm not sure what you have to disagree with, however? I don't have any battery drain. No one I know personally, who owns Apple Watch Ultra is having battery drain issues, and I know several who own an Ultra. You have however have battery drain issues. If it was caused by the update, why you and maybe a few others, but not the majority of owners? If it was a majority issue, this thread and forum would be flooded with posts. But when you consider Apple has likely millions of Ultra watches and this is the most visited forum on Apple Watch in the world, one would expect this thread to be overflowing with people complaining. But it's not overflowing. That doesn't make light of your issue. But you're going to have to do something about the issue as waiting for or hoping Apple is going to magically release something which addresses this is not likely going to happen.

Thanks for the suggestion but I do not have optimized battery level turned on. I never have. I simply take the watch off the stand in the morning and by the evening it is at aroune 28% battery level. Sometimes a bit higher. My day usually consist of about an hour workout and then usual stuff like, sitting, walking, but nothing else using the watch. every now a then, days apart maybe use maps when driving but not often. discontinued cellular to the watch. All these things are normal to what I was doing before all of a sudden seeing this massive battery drain issue. Again, I have tried 3 different watches, (2 series 4 and 1 Ultra). That is the reason why I upgraded to the the Ultra, because I was seeing excessive battery drain on my Series 4. I thought it was just old. Now I see there is a bigger issue at hand.
