No. I am not having this issue.
Troubleshooting Cellular Connectivity:
A. "No Service":
Is "No Service" shown on the top-left corner of your screen? If so, go here to fix that: If you See No Service or Searching on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
B. No SIM":
"No SIM"*** is shown on the top-left corner of your screen. So, go here to fix that: If you See 'invalid SIM' or 'no SIM' on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
C. Contact your Carrier:
Having issues with Cellular, contact your Carrier, asking them to configure this to the correct settings. They configure all of this in the SIM card.
What does your cellular carrier say about your issue?
Which is strange as generating a new eSIM should have the same effect as replacing the phone.
Regardless, I hope the issue remains resolved for you.
It's likely an issue with your cellular provider given they got it working in the first place.
It didn’t.
Yeah, you said that. But what you’re not saying is what needs to be done to solve the issue. You repeating the same thing is not helpful without further information.
The form at the link in 1. above doesn't even provide iOS 16.3.1 as an option under 'which version of iOS are you using'. Submitted the feedback, however.
Same issue here with iphone 14Max pro ios 16.3.1 Need to restart more than 4 times a day to get cellular signal. I have reset network setting but still same issue.
What happen when you take it to apple
Same answer - it's an issue with your cellular provider.
I also have faced same problem and did investigation for 1 and half month and concluded that my phone is unable to get cellular band 900MHz
any one have any idea how can i change cellular band
Actually i am in Maldives and recently the have upgraded their antenna and changed the cellular band 900 MHz and i am able to connect the antenna nearby island coz that antenna is not upgraded
Try force restarting your phone volume up volume down press and hold side button in a fast sequence
