Loss of Cell Connectivity After IOS 16.3 … - Apple Community
Yes!
Tried resetting network settings: worked for a few hours then problem returned
Tried resetting phone with erase all contents and settings, but problem returned
Called apple and they said to try full restore, plugged into Itunes. Waiting to see if it holds.
Seems Verizon needed to release a carrier update but didn't, and the new IOS can't negotiate with their network very well. apple blames verizon, verizon blames apple. BTW I pulled the sim and put it into another phone with IOS 16.2, and it worked perfectly, so its NOT the sim, or the verizon account that is the issue. It is a fight between the new IOS 16.3 and the cell phone networks.
It was sitting on my nightstand the night it updated the next morning. My phone wasn’t work and it hasn’t worked since Apple tells me it’s something to do with the hardware inside the phone, but AT&T says it’s not the phone that they tested it and it has proper connections to everything, Apple told me there’s nothing they can do for it so I got a $600 paper weight.
I update mine on iPhone 13mini and I just couldn’t connect to mobile network date anymore it won’t browse the internet.
Your phone disconnects from Wi-Fi 30 seconds after the screen is locked.
It takes a moment to connect back to Wi-Fi when it wakes up.
I’m desperate with this.
I have cell connectivity with my watch but no with the iphone 13.
Exact same phone model? Exact same location?
Most are seeing no such issues with iOS 16.3.
Which is strange as generating a new eSIM should have the same effect as replacing the phone.
Regardless, I hope the issue remains resolved for you.
It's likely an issue with your cellular provider given they got it working in the first place.
It didn’t.
Yeah, you said that. But what you’re not saying is what needs to be done to solve the issue. You repeating the same thing is not helpful without further information.
The form at the link in 1. above doesn't even provide iOS 16.3.1 as an option under 'which version of iOS are you using'. Submitted the feedback, however.
Same issue here with iphone 14Max pro ios 16.3.1 Need to restart more than 4 times a day to get cellular signal. I have reset network setting but still same issue.
What happen when you take it to apple
