I recently changed my Apple ID as well as the password. Currently my Apple Music App is displaying my old Apple ID, cant change it and would like to restore my Apple Music account. I thought I'd try Android for a change, and the process seems out of my scope and complicated. I would appreciate any tips on the best way about continuing with the Apple Music App on my Samsung Galaxy Fold4.

Have you seen the article Use Apple Music with your Android devices? It's a good resource for getting started.
For your Apple ID, did you change the Apple ID, or did you create a new one? If you changed your Apple ID on their website Manage your Apple ID, then you should be able to just sign into Music using the new Apple ID. But if you went and created a new Apple ID, you won't be able to keep any music purchases, playlists created, etc. since Apple ID's can't be synced. See this link for how to change your Apple ID and still keep access to everything. Change your Apple ID

I created a new Apple lD and password, in a state of worry when an iCloud pop up occurred, requesting me to sign in if i wanted to continue using iCloud.
I knew something was very wrong, because I wasnt using iCloud. So to ensure securing my iCloud account, I decided to create a new Apple ID, as well as a new password.
You're 💯 correct with regards to losing my purchases. A bit of a bummer, but I am back using my Apple Music account.
