New Mac Mini M2 Pro, Internet Problems

I've just installed a maxed out Mac Mini M2 Pro. Internet speed tests results are very positive. 500MBS both up and down. But web pages load very slowly, and sometimes time out. Ethernet connection. Every other Mac in the house runs just fine. Could this be the hard disk optimizing itself? I've tried dozens of fixes, but no improvement.

Ok, I've just changed a setting in the network hardware pane for my Ethernet connection:

switched to "configure manually"

disabled AVB/EAV mode

and rebooted.

It's been 15 minutes and internet is fast, downloads don't stall, and I haven't lost a single ping.

Having the new Mac mini M2 Pro, I experienced lot of problem while having Ethernet and Wifi on. Bad loading time of web page, connexion lost on Citrix, bad network quality while using Teams.

After having shutdown WIFI and keep Ethernet only, not better

Really since disabling AVB/EAV for the ethernet connection that things became smooth and having same network performance as my previous M1 mini

I had the same Ethernet issues and also found the same solution that Patrick Proniewski

did:

Go to the network hardware pane for my Ethernet connection and

switch to "configure manually"

disable AVB/EAV mode

It's been more than 24 hours without problems. Until Apple gets out a fix, I recommend this for Ethernet issues. WiFi is a totally different story.

I have very similar setup just delivered Monday; and, very very SLOW internet. Connected via ethernet/WiFi but loading a search appears after about a minute. Apple Support on first call said new item and knows very little. What? Received email stating to hook up to go over my new and great purchase. Is there a problem with the newer WiFi/Ethernet protocals causing this terrible problem. My 2011 iMac High Sierra and 2014 iMac Big Sur Are lightening fast on SAME network, same connection to Airport Extreme to AT&T Gateway only. Wifi turned off, and selected router behind router so as to pin hole security cameras through Airport easy. No problems for a decade. Doing a Recovery Mode reinstall Ventura and says 45 hours 27 minutes... now then 33 hours, now 29 hours... Yes, this does change; but, never seen such numbers, ever. Best, Seth

Just took delivery of my M2 Mini Pro yesterday. Came with Ventura 13.1 on it. If you haven't applied the update to 13.2 (as I did), then I would do so and then assess if your Internet issues persist.

I have the Synology RT6600AX router and a Motorola MB8611 modem, both 2.5G capable. There is Cat5e from the modem to the router, and then Cat7 cables from the router back into the household via a Startech 2.5G switch. I have no network slowdown issues with the new M2 mini.

My Wi-Fi right now on the M2 Mini Pro is showing 1300 Mbps and I am 20 feet and a wall from the router.

Thank you Patrick. I also have a Mini M2 Pro. This has been a frustrating issue the past few days. This instantly resolved my issues. I was having a lot of issues with web pages not rendering. It would sometimes take 15 to 20 seconds for a web page to come up. Now, they are coming up in a second like my M1 Mac Mini was doing. Thank you for the suggestion !
