I've just installed a maxed out Mac Mini M2 Pro. Internet speed tests results are very positive. 500MBS both up and down. But web pages load very slowly, and sometimes time out. Ethernet connection. Every other Mac in the house runs just fine. Could this be the hard disk optimizing itself? I've tried dozens of fixes, but no improvement.
Ok, I've just changed a setting in the network hardware pane for my Ethernet connection:
switched to "configure manually"
disabled AVB/EAV mode
and rebooted.
It's been 15 minutes and internet is fast, downloads don't stall, and I haven't lost a single ping.
This is really bad bug especially if you are using Citrix session. Apple needs to fix this.
Can you tell me what other settings you chose in this hardware pane? Speed? Duplex?

i got this m2macminipro two days ago. i spent money i shouldn’t have, on this machine and it doesn’t wi-fi correctly? what year is it apple? why is this still an issue?
To everyone having internet problems... a question: did you migrate settings from a previous Mac or was your Mac mini setup fresh selecting your ethernet/wi-fi network in Network System Preferences?
Mine was a fresh setup, not migrated.
Also, did anyone sign in with their existing Apple ID which would have imported old wifi settings stored in one's Apple ID account?
Does that mean you didn't setup with a already existing Apple ID?
I did use an existing Appleid so I guess my settings would have been copied.
I too hope Apple is working on this issue steadfastly.

Mine was a fresh ethernet setup... I just plugged it in to the router instead of using wifi.
