I have a red notification saying there’s a software update available, I ran it and it’s updated to iOS 16.3 however the notification to update is still showing.
is this a bug with iOS 16.3. Can someone help please? Thanks 🙏

Assuming that Automatic Updates are enabled - temporarily disable Automatic Updates in iPad settings:
Settings > General > Software Update > Automatic Updates
Next, perform a forced-restart of your iPad:
Force restart iPad (models with Face ID or with Touch ID in the top button)
If your iPad doesn’t have the Home button, do the following:
Force restart iPad (models with the Home button)
Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
After restart, you can re-enable Automatic updates should you choose to do so. The red update notification badge should now have cleared.

iOS (actually iPadOS) 16 was released by Apple last fall. The current version is iPadOS 16.3.
I updated both my regular iPad and my iPad Pro to 16.3. BIG MISTAKE!! I barely was able to get my regular iPad to boot, and now unable to get my iPad Pro to boot. This new IOS has destroyed my iPad Pro and has made the other iPad hard to start! The difference: the iPad Pro doesn't have the home button to press while holding down the power button to get it to start. 🤬
