iPhone 12 Notifications

I just bought a iPhone 12 the other day; i am getting notifications but they get received muted. My instagram and every other app notifications pop up still on my 6 and 12 but on the 12 they pop up silent. How do i fix this is annoying and i don't own a apple watch all i did was swap the sim card between the phones

Certain apps such as Amazon Walmart and tmz just to name a few still make no sound or alert when I receive a notification. All of my settings are right. Not sure when this first started happening but it’s been over a year now. I’m super annoyed I’m still having this issue. Just updated to 16.2 and it still is not fixed! Apple clearly doesn’t pay attention to this community cause I’ve seen lots of similar posts. I just cancelled my iPhone 14 pro order because I’ve read people with that phone still have the same problem. Apple fix your notification bugs if you want to keep my business. Very close to switching to android

Notifications not registering on iPhone Since yesterday, I have an issue with my iPhone XR (iOS 16) that is driving me mad. I no longer receive visual or sound alerts whenever I receive a notification from an app. I receive the notifications, but they just don’t alert me anymore (I have to tap on my screen to see that I’ve receive messages, for example). My Apple Watch alerts me, as do my iPad and my MacBook, but the iPhone just seems blissfully oblivious to notifications. I’ve not changed any settings on my iPhone and everything was working just fine before yesterday. I do not have any Focus setting on, I’m supposed to get notifications, even on the Lock Screen. I even turned notifications off, shut down my iPhone, turn it on again and switched on the notifications, but to no avail. I missed some important messages because of this issue. How can I fix that… besides signing off of iCloud or resetting my iPhone and start all over from scratch (which could be a bit… overkill)?

After updating iOS 18, Always On notifications delayed on my iPhone Since i updated to iOs 18, when i receive a notification it shows right away on my watch but it takes sooo long for them to show up on the iphone always on screen. Is this a bug or a new "feature" because it's really annoying... [Re-Titled by Moderator]

You also said you swapped SIM cards.

You might want to do this as a matter of housekeeping

Settings, Messages, Turn off iMessage

Settings, Face Time, Turn off Face Time

Restart the phone.

Settings, Messages, Turn on iMessage, SMS, MMS

Settings, Messages, send & Receive, Start new conversations from, select your Apple ID which should now be there.

Settings, Face Time, Turn on Face Time
