using skribble on iWatch 6

I too was having trouble entering the Apple ID password on the iWatch

(PS why is iWatch ,iPhone not in the spellcheck dictionary on this website !!!)

after a lot of cursing , I noticed that my Iphone 8 had popped up a window where I could type in to the "skribble" box on my watch - very helpful feature I did not know existed!

( skribble is the tiny screen on Iwatch where you can enter messages and text by drawing with your finger)

It even hid the password as I was entering , 4/5 stars for this feature Apple.

It would be 5 stars if it showed me the characters for half a second before hiding. Why don't all apple devices and websites do this? ( like the iPhone / iPad :-(

Other devices , phones, ipads, watches series7,8 Ultra, all have keyboards so skribble is unnecessary.

If the phone is nearby you should have been offered to utilize the phone keyboard

Set iphone notifications to show the request

Thanks for your help LD , is that a recent feature addition (using iOS keyboard) ?

I didn't find it when searching for an answer to entering the appleID password on iWatch6!

I don't know when it came in or what devices offer it, but it came as a nice surprise when I was playing with Wi-Fi connectivity outside the normal setup process.
