Change order of notes within a Notes folder?

I am using Notes for planning a trip. How do I change the order on my notes within a folder?

Tap the three dots in the circle in the upper right.

Then choose “Sort By”.

Can I store notes by newest date without changing my main folder location? I use the note feature to track my shop visits to different shops daily. I have the folders for each shop on the left in alphabetic order which works great. I pin my current day notes. When i go to transfer my daily note into my shop folder, i have to scroll past all the other entries, they are stored by date. Apple Notes Has Apple done anything to restore the ability to organize Notes Folders alphabetically? The notes within Folders can be organized various ways (I prefer by Date Created), but Folders need to be done alphabetically in my experience to avoid them being randomly stored. This is a problem.
