Beeping noise in recordings

When I record a video or a voice memo when I play it back you can barely hear what is happening because there is a loud beeping noise. The phone has recently gotten a bit wet but I have been told that it is waterproof. So I’m not sure if that’s might be the reason or something else.

my volume buttons and silence button are also not speaking properly. So I’m not sure why it is happening.
