Since I updated my iPad with OS16.3 my inbox for mail doesn’t identify which inbox I’m in ex; Gmail, Yahoo it did before this update

If you are unable to view the menu on your iPad when you are inside the Mail app, then you can tap the icon as listed here: Check your email in Mail on iPad - Apple Support to get it to show. That information is listed below.

"tap  in the upper-left corner of the Mail app"

Thanks for getting back to us. If we are understanding correctly, you are not seeing All Inboxes as pictured in the article we previously provided. You would not see Gmail or Yahoo in this scenario.

If you have chosen your Gmail or Yahoo inbox to view individually but don't see the corresponding labeling above Inbox, contact Apple Support for a deeper dive.
